Pro Angler Susan Gregory from Kiln, MS. Susan and Kenny have been married for 29 years and have two children, Hutch and Christina and an 11-month old grandbaby Brayden. Susan recalls seeing the Bassmasters on TV when she was your and decide she wanted to do the same when she grew up. At age 40 she went bass fishing for the first time with a friend from work and her husband. Several months and fruit jar tournaments later, Susan bought her first boat and the tournament trail began!< /p>

As Kenny surfed the web one day he came across the WBFA and immediately Susan signed up and fished for three years as a co-angler. At 44 years of age, she fished as a professional for the first time in what proved to be the final year of the WBFA.

When asked about her most memorable moment, it was not hard for Susan to begin sharing the story of being the only female fishing as a boater on Lake Ferguson in a weekend series. The really nice 20-year-old man she drew admitted that his friends had teased him about drawing the girl! As the second boat to blastoff. We had our first fish was in the boat within 5 minutes and a limit in the first hour! He was so excited he had been fishing for several tournaments with other men and hadn't done as well. Every boat that he saw the rest of the day he yelled out to them "I don't care what ya'll say I'm proud to be with the girl". We became instant friends and still keep in touch.

I see the LBAA as being the best Women's tour. I am not knocking great tours that have come before this one. I just truly feel this one will be the best because the women own it and have a voice.

Of course, you won't make every-one 100% happy all the time but we are the ones who will make it the best it can be. We are able to discuss any questions, concerns or issues and go from there. As anglers we are the only ones responsible in making the LBAA a complete success.
I am also extremely excited about the charity tournament we have on the Saturdays of the Women's events. What a true gift we have with the opportunity to give something back. God has blessed each and every one of us with the chance to live our dreams and now we are blessed with the chance to help others. How awesome is that!!!
