The Lady Bass Anglers Association will travel to Alabama's beautiful Lake Guntgersville for the second Lady Bass Classic to conclude the 2012 tournament season. Comprised of 69,100 acres of water and stretches 75 miles from Nickajack Dam to Guntersville Dam. Guntersville is the largest lake in the state of Alabama. The lake records are 14 lbs  8 oz for laregmouth, 4 lbs 11 oz for spotted bass. The state records for these two species are 16 lbs 8 oz for largemouth, 10 lbs 8 oz for smallmouth and 8 lbs 15 oz for for spotted bass.   This event is hosted by the Marshall County Alabama Convention and Visitors Bureau with the last day to accept the invitation is September 17, 2012.

The field will consist of the topone-third of the averege field for 2012  twenty anglers in both the professional and co-angler divisions plus one wild card berth from each division. All told, a minimum of at least a 26 angler field will be competing in this event for championship title, cash and prizes. Unlike other events during 2012, this event will have anglers competing for three days and is a no entry fee event. Each of the three days anglers are competing to bring in the heaviest stringer for their respective divisions. Five for professionals and three for amateurs each day of the competition looking for the highest cumulative three day total weight. The angler with the largest three day weight will be crowned the second Lady Bass Classic Champion!. One angler in each division will also be awarded a cash prize for the biggest bass of the tournament. Cash payouts in each division will be paid to anglers competing in the tournament.

Lake Guntgersville is a Tennessee Valley Authority body of water. Val Monte Resort is the designated launch site for the event with the weigh-in each day of the pro/am event also taking place at this location.
