Old Hickory Lake
The Lady Bass Anglers Association will travel to Tennessee's beautiful Old Hickory Lake for the second regular season tournament of the 2013 tour. Comprised of 22,500 acres of water and encompassing 440 miles of shoreline. The lake records are 11 lbs 1 oz for largemouth, 4 lbs 11 oz for spotted bass and 4 lbs 14 oz for smallmouth. The state records for these three species are 11 lbs 1 oz for largemouth, 6 lbs 15.5 oz for smallmouth and 4 lbs 14 oz for for spotted bass. Entry fees for pro-anglers is $400 and for co-anglers is $200. This event is hosted by the Sumner County Convention and Visitors Bureau with the last day to register without a late fee is April 10, 2013.
This two day pro/am event will have pro-anglers competing to bring in the heaviest 5 fish limit comprised of any combination of largemouth, or spotted bass. Co-anglers are looking for the same species but only need 3 fish for a bag limit each day. The angler in each division with the largest combined two day weight will be awarded the top cash prize for her division. One angler in each division will also be awarded a cash prize for the biggest bass of the tournament. Cash payouts in each division will be paid to every 1 in 5 anglers registering for the tournament.
Old Hickory Lake is a Tennessee Valley Authority body of water. Saunders Ferry is the designated launch site for the event with the weigh-in each day of the pro/am event will take place at a location to be announced at a later date.
