Greg_Warner

TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR
GREG WARNER

Greg Warner is a native Hoosier but now calls Kentucky home. He is retired from Schwan Food Company where he served as a Location General Manager. Currently, Greg is the General Manager of Fisherman's Headquarters on Kentucky Lake and has competed in bass tournaments since the mid 90's. THe expertise he brings to the Lady Bass Anglers Association comes from his work as Weigh Master for Twin Lakes Guys and Gals and as Tournament Director for the Fisherman's Headquarters Kentucky Lake Open and Kentucky Lake Midwest Team Challenge.

"I see the LBAA as an awesome opportunity for women's bass fishng and the sport of bass fishing in general. I'm excited about watching the LBAA grow and about helping to develop and maintain a fair and professional tournament staff."

Don Day Tournament MC for the LBAATOURNAMENT MC
DON DAY

Hi, I'm Don Day and I had the honor of MCing the 2009 WBT weigh-ins; but little did I know that my first year with the women would be the last year of that Tour. I was pleasantly surprised when my friend Cheryl Bowden got together with Secret York and some of the other ladies and announced that a new Women's Bass Tournament Trail would be established. I called Cheryl and asked if I could be on board...thankfully she said yes!   So, here we go!

Born in Bainbridge, Georgia, Don grew up fishing and hunting in and around Lake Seminole. When he graduated High School in 1967, the United States was fully engaged in the war in Southeast Asia. Don immediately joined the U.S. Navy and served as a Gunners Mate aboard the USS Perry, a Destroyer based out of Mayport, Florida. The ship and it's crew served many tours of duty including one to Vietnam in 1969.

With his service to our Country completed in 1971, he found his way into the world of broadcasting and worked at various Radio and TV Stations around the Southeast. He retired in July 2008 but continues to be involved in many charitable endeavors and civic activities. He has MC'd the Buckmasters Classic and had the honor of being the "voice" of the Bassmasters Classic for over 20 years including many years of introducing Ray Scott, the founder of B.A.S.S. to thousands of bass fishing fanatics. Ray even asked Don to accompany him on an entertainment trip for our men and women in uniform serving in the Middle East. Don eagerly accepted and prior to Thanksgiving 2004 he joined Ray for a send-off by none other than President George W. Bush in the Oval Office.

Don, who now lives on 45 acres in Elmore County, is a former private pilot and sport parachutist, but these days you'll find him either shooting clays, fishing or hunting throughout the local area.

Ray Scott says, "Don has been a personal friend for many years and I know I can always count on him. We enjoyed lots of laughs and tears on our Ray Scott Iraq Thanksgiving Tour 2004 and Don and I agree, it was truly one of the highlights of our lives. Good luck Don and I wish you the best."
