Alabama Co-Angler Christian Baxter

Growing up playing all sports, my fishing career took off in high school. I remember going with my dad when I was younger to the creek to catch stripe. I started middle school and came home talking about a fishing team but at that time we didn’t have a boat. The next year we got a boat and from that point on bass fishing has been passion for me. As I joined the fishing team and played golf with the school, my weeks were set playing golf tournaments and leaving on the weekends to go fish. Being the only girl on both teams had no effect on me. Logan Martin is right at our back door and that’s where my dad showed me all that I know from cranking to having our Carolina rigs stretched out. I now fish at the collegiate level at Gadsden State. My personal record fish was a 6.5lbs largemouth caught at Weiss Lake-Centre, Alabama. Some of my favorite techniques I like to do are shallow cranking, throwing a jig, and Carolina rigs.

My first tournament with the LBAA was the 2014 wildcard at Lake Dardanelle. In 2015, I fished the whole tour and now I will try not to miss any events because it is a blast hanging out with all the great ladies. I’m glad to be a part of the LBAA. My biggest supporters are my mom and dad which I give a Big Thanks for everything.
