Cassie Hall
Alabama Co-Angler Cassie Hall

Cassie was born on Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama. As the daughter of a career Air Force father, she experienced much of the world ranging from Washington State to Germany. Cassie now lives in Alabaster, Alabama. She has been with Springer Equipment, a material handling company, for 16 years. Her role as Product Support Representative is both challenging and rewarding. It affords Cassie plenty of opportunities to excel with a great strength …… interacting with others.

Cassie appreciates her Dad every day for introducing her to fishing. Her earliest angling adventure was being hauled to the lake in her baby carrier. Cassie’s memorable early fishing trips included camping at the Coosa River with her Dad and Grand-Dad.

Cassie is an Army Veteran. This proved a wonderful experience. Learning and applying the principles of teamwork and camaraderie are still some of her core values. Besides qualifying as an expert marksman, she developed skills operating vehicles ranging from jeeps to 18-wheelers.

An early passion was motorcycles. Cassie enjoyed the Harley Davidson clubs she belonged to through nearly two decades. She was a club officer most of these years, leading to her role as Director of the Heart of Dixie Harley Owners Group from Pelham, Alabama.

Cassie’s passion transitioned to tournament bass fishing in 2009. Without knowing any other competitors, she dove into a Women’s Bassmaster Tour event as a co-angler on Neely Henry. The early spring weather was absolutely horrible. Penny Berryman was her second-day draw. Cassie got the honor of netting Penny’s 7-pounder on this day. And, Penny’s positive influence was one of the factors that brought Cassie back for the rest of the WBT season.

Cassie has participated with the Lady Bass Anglers Association since its founding. She has qualified for the LBAA Classic each year.

Another core value is a commitment to helping others. She served for five years on the board of directors for Owens House Child Advocacy Center in support of abused children. She thoroughly enjoys introducing other women to the world of angling. And, her passion for singing has paid off with a wonderful rendition of the National Anthem at LBAA events. Cassie is an avid Alabama fan, particularly football.

Cassie’s sponsors include Wild River (excellent portable tackle organizers), Live Target hard baits, Airport Marine (Alabaster, AL), Big Bite Baits (soft plastics), and Earnest McCarty Ford.
