I grew up in Poor Valley Virginia and left in my 20’s to finish my education. I relocated to Sa NC where I spent 23 years. Recently, I relocated back to the Appalachian mountains and bought a small hunting cabin near the base of Mt Rogers/Chilhowie Va where I currently live with my German Shepherd, Ruger.
My love for fishing started when I was a small girl as growing up in rural Appalachia we had nothing to do to pass the time other than hit the outdoors. I started trout fishing but when I moved to Carolina, I primarily fished for bass.
2018 was my first year lake fishing and tournament fishing. It was a good first year as I racked up an cpl wins in local tournaments and a few 2nd place finishes in just a handful of tournaments. This is when I searched out for a ladies trail and decided to Join the LBAA.
2019 Being my rookie year, I won the Ladies Big Bass Bash on Badin Lake. On the LBAA trail, I took Big Bass and 4th place at the first stop in Hickory NC. I pulled out a first place win at the second stop, Toledo Bend, and looking forward to the remaining season and future years to come!
