Logan Martin Information

The Lady Bass Anglers Association will head to Lincoln, Alabama's Lake Logan Martin for tour stop #2. Logan Martin Lake is located on the Coosa River in east central Alabama approximately 30 miles east of Birmingham, Alabama. This 17,000 acre Coosa River reservior was built in 1965 by Alabama Power Company. Nicknamed "Lake of a Thousand Coves" by locals, Logan Martin has 275 miles of shoreline along its 48.5nmile length sandwiched between Logan Martin Dam on the south and Neely Henry Dam on the north. The depth of the lake is 35 to 110 feet with only a five feet average water level variance.
The lake records are 14 lbs 11 oz for largemouth. There is no lake record for spotted bass, but a 4lb minimum is required to qualify. The state records for these two species are 16 lbs 08 oz for largemouth, 10 lbs 8 oz for smallmouth and 8 lbs 15 oz for for spotted bass. This event is hosted by the City of Lincoln, Alabama with the last day to accept entrance into this event is March 28, 2017.
This two day pro/am event will have pro-anglers competing to bring in the heaviest 5 fish limit comprised of any combination of largemouth, or spotted bass. Co-anglers are looking for the same species but only need 3 fish for a bag limit each day. The angler in each division with the largest combined two day weight will be awarded the top cash prize for her division. Cash payouts in each division will be paid to every 1 in 5 anglers registering for the tournament.
More information will be posted soon!  Entry fees for pro-anglers is $400 and for co-anglers is $200. The last day to register without a late fee being March 28, 2017.
Non-Resident: 7-Day- $28.35 Except Florida- $30.00; Annual- $50.30 excpet for Louisiana- $60.00 and Mississippi $64.29     (Valid till 8-31-17)
Resident: Annual- $13.10 (Valid till 8-31-17)

LENGTH LIMIT: 12" on all three species
